A little bit about this recipe…..

I have been making this fridge cake for years. It is so quick to throw together. If you like chocolate biscuits you will love these.
Ingredients
- 250g biscuit crumbs (I used a mix of broken biscuits I had)
- 150g dark chocolate
- 150g milk chocolate
- 100g butter
- 150g golden syrup
Method
- Place both types of chocolate into a heat proof bowl
- Add butter and golden syrup
- Put a little water in a pan and place your bowl of chocolate mix over pan. Heat over low heat to gently melt
- Once completely melted mix in biscuit
- Line a 20cm square tin with greaseproof paper.
- Evenly spread mixture in tin and pop in the fridge to chill until set
- Once set you can cut into whatever size pieces you prefer
Blags, Tips & Tricks
- You can add dried fruit and nuts, but I generally don’t as if the gremmos want to take some to school they can’t contains nuts.
