A little bit about this recipe…..
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 30 mins | Serves: 4 | Cost: £2pp
This recipe was sent to me from our super contributor Silva. In her recipe she serves with bulgar wheat and chickpeas. However I didn’t have bulgar wheat or a car!! This recipe typically has potatoes in the pot, so that’s what I did and threw in a tin of chickpeas. I added some optional extras as Paps does love spices. It’s really is down to preference. Try a BLAG!!
Ingredients

- Bulgar Wheat, Rice or a few potatoes
Method
- Finely chop 1 onion and add to mince

- Put a little oil in a pan – once hot add your kebabs and brown off
- Once browned place in an oven proof dish
- Add your sliced onion, tomato and pepper to your dish
- Add tins of tomatoes
- Mix tomato puree in a glass of warm water, season and mix, then add to your dish
- Add tinned chickpeas
- If using potatoes chop into chunks and add to dish
- Place in a preheated oven at 180°C and cook until bubblingI
- If not using potatoes serve with bulgar wheat or rice
