This feels like a bit of a milestone for us…
We’ve had our very first recipe contribution from a follower of Jam Jam’s Kitchen! 😊
A lovely lady called Silva (who I believe is Lebanese) got in touch and shared a recipe for a simplified version of a traditional dish called Shish Barak.
First of all – a huge thank you, Silva 💛
We absolutely love the idea of people sharing their own recipes, and this is exactly what Jam Jam’s Kitchen is all about.
I have linked the recipe below.
👉 We tried it – and it was really, really good.
It’s one of those dishes that might sound a little unusual at first (yogurt and mince with pasta!), but it just works. It’s simple, comforting, and full of flavour – exactly the kind of food we love.
And the best part? It’s quick, easy, and uses ingredients you probably already have in the kitchen.
So Silva – thank you again for sharing this with us. We’ll definitely be making it again!
And to everyone else…
👉 If you’ve got a favourite recipe, a family classic, or even a bit of a “blag it and see what happens” dish — we’d love to hear from you.
Who knows… you might be our next featured contributor!
Love,
Jam Jam 💛
