We had these wonderful people (Jason and Kerry) over for lunch yesterday. On the menu…chicken satay, devilled eggs & homemade pate on crostini just to start with!
Then we had a homemade badger (No….not the black & white, furry mammal). This is a dish that I have been making for ages – really tasty, easy and very economical! I served this with oven roasted carrots, parsnips and sauted spinach and courgette.
For pudding, I did honeycomb & salted caramel cheesecake (which I have never done before) – but this is a subject for a different post!!!
Then, when we were all done and they had gone home – settled down with a glass of wine and watched the rugby.
