🍲 The First Ever Jam Jam Cookathon – Report From The Front Line! 🍲

Well… the first ever Jam Jam Cookathon has been completed and I can report that there were no serious injuries, although the recycling bin may never recover.

Yesterday’s mission was a huge batch of Jam Jam’s Chilli.

The final tally?

🌢️ 42 adult portions

That’s a lot of chilli.

There were mountains of onions, enough garlic to keep vampires away until Christmas and an alarming number of tins involved. In fact, there were so many tins that Paps is already worrying about next week’s recycling collection.

The freezer is now absolutely packed, the family will be eating chilli for the foreseeable future and I suspect several portions will mysteriously disappear into the homes of unsuspecting relatives.

One of the things I love about batch cooking is knowing that a few hours in the kitchen means lots of future meals already sorted. Future Jam Jam will be very grateful when she opens the freezer and finds dinner already waiting.

Now I have a question…

❓ Did anyone else join in the Cookathon?

If you did, I’d love to know:

🍲 What did you make?

πŸ“¦ How many portions did you manage?

πŸ“Έ Did you take any photos?

Please post your pictures and achievements in the comments below. Whether you made 50 portions of chilli or simply filled the freezer with a couple of homemade meals, it all counts.

Let’s see what everyone got up to!

Love,

Jam Jam xxx

PS. If anyone has any creative ideas for using up 42 portions of chilli, Paps is all ears πŸ˜„
